So yes, it is true that…
- I haven’t updated any of the sites listed in the left navbar or otherwise under the hamburger menu thing in the upper left corner of your browser in “a while”…
- And, while it’s also true I’ve literally dropped every other website endeavor I’ve ever attempted up to date (until now)…
- And, well, if that doesn’t sum it up, if nothing else, I generally tend to just “lose interest” in things I once liked over a course of time.
Ever felt that way yourself?
Planning to go into those topics in different posts “across the spectrum” as best fits the website focus at hand.
Some things might fit best under my “mentalhealthmatters.me” website. Other parts of a similar topic might fit under “ilovewires.com” for all I know. Only time will tell.
So, that might beg the question? What’s up with my newest domain name purchase “ilovewires.com”? Well, glad you asked! :)
You see, I’ve found when I take a tangled up bunch of wires like an old USB cable or such, and I re-bundle it back into it’s “original shape” as it came from the factory, and wire-tie or velcro-tie that sucker back together, and then even label it on top of that…
Well, in short, it gives me a sense of turning chaos into order.
You see, I’ve always had a mind that tends to naturally lean more towards the “chaotic” side and finds orderly things to be more of a struggle…or perhaps better said, a challenge.
But, if you’re like me, many times - granted, not all of the time - I find that I want to move from chaos to order, and when I allow myself a little dopamine hit like “wrapping a tangled wire together”, it seems to genuinely give me a sense of “peace.”
Yea, I think that’s how I’d best describe it. Literally, just a small bit of “peace [of mine].”
Anyways, that’s enough for today.
Talk to y’all later.
Peace out 🫡

On a side note, what do y’all think of the new backend “Quartz 4” self-hosted NodeJS engine? Pretty sweet, huh?
I made a handful of changes (couple of new Quartz “components”) under the hood to handle the website page redirects the way I’ve been wanting for a very long time now (everything else before Quartz just didn’t “do the trick” for me)
Not to worry though! Anyone out there who might be interested in how this and the other domain websites under the “Explorer” menu work and interoperate behind the scenes, I plan to cover all of that in great detail on my https://thatsnifty.io website soon!
After all, it was fun - yet rather frustrating at times - to get it to work the way I wanted, but at least for me, that gives me an even bigger reason for why I’d like to share the knowledge I acquired with others if so interested 🙇♂️
