Statues? Idols? The whole “thou shalt not make an image of things either above and below” statement from God found in the second of the ten commandments?
You remember, the same ten commandments that God had Moses meticulously carve out on the top of a tall mountain? Right before Moses got mad at his followers once he came back and dashed the chiseled stone tablets on the ground?
… And then had to go back up the same mountain and redo the work from scratch?
Anyway, my apologies. Started to go off on a tangent there.
